Edoardo Primo is located in the district of Castelnuovo Magra. The medieval town originated at the end of 1100 on Mount Bastione, and dominates the valley below, the coast, the estuary of the river Magra, and the ocean where one can sometimes see the islands of Gorgona and Capraia. One characteristic of the territory is undoubtedly its slpendid view, as well as its long history, its traditions, and its vast gastronomic repertoire. The culture of wine and oil-making is fueled by a strong passion and the experience aquired over the centuries, and has become a philosophy, a way of life, a wealth which has to be valued and shared. This is further proved by the DOC certification "Colli di Luni" and the presence of several native strains of vinyards that produce wines with very distinct characteristics. The rurual world, which blends in with the ancient urban environment, preserves much of that ancient culture in a landscape modeled through the centuries by its forests, vinyards, olives and mills.
